How long will
it take to receive my order?
If item is in stock and you order by credit card, silver orders will ship
within 24 hours. Gold items ship within 14 days. Orders by check will
take a little longer. Shipping time is usually less than 6 days.
How much do you charge for shipping?
Nothing. All shipping is free.
What is your return policy?
We have a 30-day trial period. If you want to exchange or return an item
please contact us at info@theanimaljewelrystore.com
If your item is INCORRECT or DAMAGED,
contact us immediately. For more detailed information, please see our

Do you accept international
orders?
At this time we do not accept any international orders. We do not ship
overseas. We do not ship outside of the U.S.
What do I do if I want to change my order?
E-mail your name, e-mail address, the order number, and new changes to
info@theanimaljewelrystore.com. We will e-mail you a confirmation of the
changes as soon as they are processed. If we have already sent out your
original order, please refuse the package from UPS and it will be returned
to us at no additional cost to you. Any opened packages are subject to
our return policy.
What are your shipping options?
Standard UPS Ground shipping is free for all orders, excluding tax.
What delivery service do you use?
All orders are shipped by UPS and are fully insured.
Can I ship to an alternate address?
Yes, you can. We need the correct billing address and the order is subject
to approval.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We also accept checks
or money orders. All forms of payment must be in USA currency. Checks
must be drawn out of a USA bank. We have a safe shopping guarantee policy
that will insure total security. Checks and money orders must cleare before
we can ship your order.
Does TheAnimalJewelryStore.com charge sales tax on purchases?
Because we are based in Utah, we charge 6.25% sales tax for any purchases
made by Utah residents. However, there is no sales tax for purchases made
outside the state of Utah. International orders may require special taxes,
but we are unable to estimate the costs.
How do I know if you received my order?
After you click on Submit Order, you will see a confirmation page and
invoice number. You will also receive an e-mail confirming your order.
How do I reach a customer service representative?

What does 14k mean?
Gold is an alloy (a mixture of various metals) and the karats define the
percent of pure gold in the alloy. The karat scale ranges from 1 to 24
- 24 karat gold is considered 99.9% pure gold. To calculate the percentage
of pure gold that is yielded, divide the karat of your jewelry by 24 (i.e.
14K gold: 14/24=0.583=58.3% pure gold). Take note that you may sometimes
see the percentage of pure gold stamped onto a piece of jewelry instead
of its karat. For example, 10K gold is sometimes stamped .417.
Are all items in stock?
Most silver items are in stock. Gold pieces are created upon receipt of
your order.
Do you make or design custom jewelry?
We do not make or design custom jewelry. However, we have access to hundreds
of animal jewelry designs by the same designers. If you do not see the
item you want on our site please contact the sales department at info@theanimaljewelrystore.com
with a description of what you are looking for.
Is it safe to use my credit card?
We guarantee that every credit card transaction you make with us will
be 100% safe. Please read the site security
What if there is an item that is mis-priced?
Should an item ever be mis-priced, we will notify you by e-mail. If the
correct price is lower than the listed price, we will refund the difference.
If the correct price is higher than the listed price, we will offer you
a 10% discount off the correct price up to a maximum of $50.
How do I care for my gold jewelry?
To clean gold jewelry, dilute mild dishwashing liquid with water. Mix
1 tablespoon of dishwashing liquid with 2 cups of water in a bowl. Loosen
dirt by soaking jewelry for 15 minutes. Use a soft brush to remove dirt.
If necessary, carefully use a toothpick to clean crevices. Rinse with
clean water. If you rinse in a sink, make sure to close the drain. After
cleaning, always make sure your jewelry is dry before you put it away.
Metal jewelry should be stored separately, so pieces cannot come in contact
and scuffing of their surfaces can be avoided. It is recommended to remove
jewelry before bathing and grooming. Hair spray, make-up, moisturizer,
perfume, and soap can leave a dull film on jewelry. Harsh cleaners of
any kind, including chlorine bleach, should never be used on jewelry.
Is your gold jewelry solid?
All of our gold jewelry is solid gold and manufactured to strict quality
standards. We do not sell ANY gold plated jewelry.
